Nottingham Comedy Festival Preview Show


To celebrate the 16th annual Nottingham Comedy Festival. We are hosting a one off special show featuring a selection of the fantastic talent coming to the festival this November.


Featuring:

MC: Cerys Bradley (Performing at LOL-GBTQ+ at Lord Roberts on 9th Nov)


Cerys Bradley is "a great story teller" (The Guardian) and winner of the Neurodiverse Review's award for Actually Autistic Excellence (2022). They make alternative, interactive comedy (but in a fun way) and are supported by Arts Council England. 


Lovdev Barpaga(Performing at The Embankment on 1st Nov)


Lovdev Barpaga, crowned UK Pun Champion in 2017, is a Birmingham-based comedian known for his sharp one-liners and infectious humor. Described by Steve Bennett as "The 21st Century Asian Ken Goodwin" and praised by Joe Lycett as "one of the most brilliant daft comics you will ever see," Lovdev brings a unique blend of old-school charm and clever wordplay to the stage. His credits include performances at BBC Asian Network Live, the prestigious Big Value in Edinburgh 2013, and the Best In Class line-up in 2022, along with his popular podcast.


Steph Bradshaw, (Performing at The Canalhouse: Secret Stage on 4th Nov)


Stephanie Bradshaw is a Cumbrian comedian whose stand-up has been described as ‘endearing’ and ‘hilarious’, 'Steph makes you feel like a couple of friends having a good belly laugh over wine'. As seen and heard on Only Fans Creative Fund: Comedy Edition 2023, BBC Cumbria, BBC Radio 5 Live.

Alex Leam, (Performing at Vibes on 1st and 3rd Nov)

Alex Leam is an Ex-DJ (Turned comedian). He dreamed of Ibiza, but ended up doing weddings and pub quizzes. Expect to have your favourite songs ruined

Mel Judson is a Bradford comedian and radio presenter known for her signature dry, deadpan and hilariously cynical style, Mel breaks down boundaries and shows the absolute joy that comes from the unexpected and unconventional. With her infections no-holds-barred honestly and unapologetic philosophy for happiness, Mel never fails to shock entertain and amused.
